About

We think wine is for everyone, and that the best wines out there are a little off the beaten path. We also think that learning about wine should be fun! We're sisters, and as sisters do, we grew up sharing everything, including a passion for wine, food, hospitality, and hosting friends in our homes. About a decade ago, we started learning as much as we could on our own; books, classes, tastings, and traveling to wine regions laid a strong foundation for us, but we decided to pursue a more formal education with the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). We’ve both earned our Level 3 Advanced Award from WSET and are candidates for Italian Wine Scholar and French Wine Scholar certifications. The more we learn about wine (and the learning is endless!), the more we appreciate the wonderful diversity of the world of wine, and the more we love the lesser-known winemaking regions, forgotten and often maligned grape varieties, and just generally, going beyond the so-called "noble grapes" to find great wines. Wine is for everyone, and it’s time to break down the barriers to true wine enjoyment.

Our goal is to create wine experiences that are a little bit "school" and a little bit "party." More importantly, we want to equip guests with tangible wine knowledge, as well as some tips and tricks for continuing to explore the world of wine on their own. Events are tailored to our guests, what they enjoy drinking, and what they want to learn. That said, we hope to introduce something new to even the self-proclaimed wine geeks out there!

Classes & Tastings

We'd love to help you host a party at your home, an event for your team at work, a fundraiser, networking event, birthday party, some bridal party bonding... or anything you can dream up that involves wine and learning something new. Until partying together is possible again, we’re offering virtual tastings, study sessions, classes, and interactive events.

One thing is for sure - our events will always include at least a few wines that defy convention and go beyond the "noble" grape varieties or classic wine regions of the world. We aim to highlight the wonderful diversity of the wine world, and our wine selections will always reflect our values. Expect the unexpected when it comes to our wine selections!
